So much owed by so many to so few

This morning I attended the RAF Association, Londonderry Branch Thanksgiving Service to mark the 71st Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. It was the battle that inspired Winston Churchill to say the immortal words during a speech in the House of Commons on the 20 August while the Battle was still ongoing.

Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
